Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning

My interest and focus on AI (artificial intelligence) goes back to the mid-1980s when I started learning how to program in a language called LISP (now “Lisp”, short for LISt Processor or LISt Programming) and as part of that process sucked up anything and everything related to AI.

In the early 1990s, I was exposed to neural network programming in C and since the advent of neural networks with backpropagation for uses in machine learning 5-10 years ago I have heavily invested in updating my knowledge and skills in the A.I. area again.

My ambitions in AI/ML are

1. to create a portfolio of highly valuable general-purpose flagship AI sites/properties (blog, wiki, groups, store, ...) that become increasingly well monetizable.

2. And to develop a SaaS Business Intelligence platform that enables eCommerce SMBs to get into the use of ML without having to become too ML focused beyond their core business.

My AI Websites

As part of my renewed focus on artificial intelligence, I started building a portfolio of AI-related websites, some of which have been quite successful in this ever faster-growing space of technology and innovation:

Artificial Intelligence Blog
https://www.artificial-intelligence.blog … my #1 ranking AI blog covering many topics such as AI news, research, books, conferences, entertainment and more. I am open to accepting sponsorships for this website.

Artificial Intelligence Videos
https://www.artificial-intelligence.video … a hand-curated list of 2500+ AI videos covering topics of interest to beginners as well as experts in virtually every A.I. related knowledge domain. I am open to accepting sponsorships for this website.

Artificial Intelligence Wiki
https://www.artificial-intelligence.wiki … a community-driven website focusing 100% on AI-related topics using the same MediaWiki technology stack as Wikipedia. Everyone is free to join and contribute.

Artificial Intelligence Store
https://www.artificial-intelligence.store … I love wearing AI gear in public - just showing off my passion for artificial intelligence and technologies only fellow A.I. lovers will recognise and appreciate. This store sells hoodies, t-shirts, and other AI merch.

The book above is from 1962 and likely very similar to the one I had at the time in the mid-80s (from Addison-Wesley).

AI on Social Media

In addition to dedicated websites, I have been building AI communities across social media for the past 10+ years. Some have grown extremely large and sadly some (Google+) very big ones also went away.

AI Groups on LinkedIn and Facebook

Depending on your focus, professional or casual, LinkedIn or Facebook are the right places for AI Groups, and these are the ones I run (the “big” number indicates the audience size at the time of writing):

AI Group Worldwide

AI Group 🌎🌍🌏 Worldwide
On LinkedIn at linkedin.com/groups/8738506/ for professional AI contacts.
On Facebook at facebook.com/groups/artificial.intelligence.group.worldwide for casual AI enthusiasts around the world.

With 1000s of members, these groups are the most popular. See below for more AI groups with an additional local/regional focus.
